The big idea behind our work is that everyone, regardless of the 'labels' placed on them(extreme poor, disabled or vulnerable) have something to contribute to their own development. We believe that when communities are empowered to believe in and use what they have(their own resources), they can drive their development in the most effective, efficient and sustainable ways.
Love and Hands facilitates community-driven development by training communities to identify community resources, skills and strengths and utilize them to build sustainable solutions to the challenges they face.
