ABCD for Women in Communities
Our goal is to reach 70% of women in all our programs. Since 2017, we've trained over 1500 women in Rwanda in Asset-based Community Development, with about 50 women led initiatives.

Confidence is contagious. As women grow in leadership and agency, they inspire others to step forward too.
When women are supported with the right training and tools:
> Children stay in school longer
> Families enjoy better health outcomes
> Local businesses grow stronger
> Communities become more connected
This isn’t just theory - it’s what we see on the ground every day.
Despite facing limited access to resources, land, or financial tools, women show remarkable resilience. Through our ABCD approach, we help women identify the assets they already have - and turn them into practical solutions for real change.
Women are the backbone of thriving communities - and their empowerment is key to sustainable progress. Across Africa, despite facing steep barriers, women continue to show remarkable resilience and untapped potential.
At Love & Hands, we believe in unlocking that potential. Through Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), we don’t just support women—we equip them to become problem-solvers, leaders, and catalysts for change in their own communities.
